A MESSAGE FROM JEROME OCAMPO
Dear JREV friend,
Twenty years ago, God spoke to me about a Generation that will rise above any other generation in the history of mankind. It came at a time of desperationin the history of our nation the Philippines. Truly desperate times bring out God’s history makers. Nothing has been the same after then.
From the countless solemn assemblies in the different cities of the Philippines to the prayer gatherings in South Korea, Bolivia, Mongolia and Indonesia, JREV has taken part in mobilizing this generation to shake, rock and shift the destinies of their nations. Hundreds of thousands of young people have been touched and impacted by that one word God spoke to us 20 years ago.
Today, JREV is engaged in fulfilling the John the Baptist mandate in Luke 1:17, “to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” There are 2 components to this mandate: A people prepared will take time, training and mentoring. JREV has focused on this for the last 14 years, after we launched the first Nazarite Training in 2007. We have conducted the NT in 8 countries, translated the materials in their languages and trained leaders to train others as well. The call for this lifestyle training continues to increase as the need of “a people prepared for the Lord” is amplified by the times we are in.
The 2nd component is “to make ready” this prepared people… Ready for what? For the coming of the Lord is what John the Baptist was commissioned for. And that is what this generation is also called for, a generation of forerunners. And this is what JREV is actively moving towards. Getting this generation ready for the times and seasons we are all headed.
We believe the “post pandemic church” will be more focused, more anointed and more equipped to fulfill JREV’s mandate of ‘preparing a people’ through the Nazarite Training and ‘making ready’ through active prayer movements such as UPRISING (United Prayer Rising) gatherings all over the world.
With this I ask you to financially support the work of our hands. Let us build on what God has been working on for decades now.
