“‘Look to the university in Manila,’ says God. ‘For I am going to bring a revival that the—Oh my Lord!’—the Lord says, ‘not hundreds, but thousands and thousands and thousands are going to get saved!’ The Lord says, ‘Can I touch a whole university? Yes, I can touch a whole university! I can come with my glory and I can come with my power in ways that you cannot imagine! For I am coming,’ says God. ‘I am coming and I will remain,’ says the Lord.”

There are thousands upon thousands of students enrolled in the many campuses in Metro Manila. In the University Belt alone, the count is already over 200,000. The future politicians, businessmen, medical professionals, law-makers, lawyers, media practitioners, educators, and other future leaders of this nation are being honed in the four corners of their classrooms.
Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, always said, ‘Win the campus today and change the world tomorrow!’ He understood that reaching students for Christ is the key to transforming society. ‘If we can reach the campus, we can reach our cities and the nations for Christ’ (Jaeson Ma, The Blueprint).
Jesus Revolution Now has been involved in mobilizing students for prayer and fasting for revival and reformation in the campuses since 2005. Rock Revolution Nights and Prayer Movements have been initiated in several universities and even high schools such as the University of the Philippines- Diliman, Philippine Christian University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Philippine Normal University, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Miriam College, Philippine Science High School, University of the East-Recto, and Ateneo de Manila University, among others. These gatherings have resulted to the salvation of many students, a glimpse of the thousands and thousands of souls that have been prophesied to be harvested in the universities. Also, it has stirred the hearts of many to believe for more. Now, the challenge is posted: are we willing to do whatever it takes to experience the more?
“Campus Awakening 2011” answers to the call. As a celebration of Jesus Revolution’s 10th year since the first ever solemn assembly, it aims to gather over 5,000 students from different high schools, colleges, and universities to unite in a day of prayer and fasting to see a radical Jesus revolution overtake their respective campuses. It seeks to instill in the students’ hearts that their school is their inheritance and that they shall take it by force. It will challenge them to sacrifice for the cause—to kneel down and wet the ground with their tears, and move the heavens with their cries until God sends forth rain and we see salvation spring up from the ground. But it will not only challenge them to pray, but also to work as if it all depends on them even as they are already praying as if it all depends on God.
We believe that God is preparing this generation for the greatest revival yet. He is already at work, and we don’t want to miss out on what He is doing.
